The U21 team of FC Koln starts the Regionalliga season on August 1. Coach René Wagner said: „The U21 team starts next week with the league games. That's why we need to check who will stay with us until the end of the training camp.“

The talents like goalkeeper Martin James, David Fürst and Jonathan Friemel have presented themselves well in the training camp. Wagner praised Nilas Yacobi and Patrik Kristal: „They are not just there to be extras, but quite the opposite. Both have earned it.“
