Additionally, the stadium will receive an upgrade with hybrid grass and floodlights. FC managing director Philipp Türoff emphasizes the urgency of these measures and sees them as a pragmatic compromise that benefits both FC Koln and local grassroots sports. President Jörn Stobbe has announced that the expansion of the performance center is set to begin early next year.
