FC Cologne has signed 22-year-old midfielder Sophie Nachtigall from SC Freiburg. Nachtigall signs a contract until 2029 and will immediately strengthen the women's squad. Career Path
Sophie Nachtigall was born on 12 February 2004 in Hamburg. She began her career at TuS Germania Schnelsen, then moved to Hamburger SV and Eintracht Frankfurt before joining SC Freiburg in 2025. There she quickly established herself as a regular starter. In the Bundesliga she has played 27 matches and scored one goal. She has also appeared in six DFB-Cup matches, scoring three goals.
