FC Köln, Berg added. Okpodu grew up in Nuremberg and went through several youth departments of various clubs before joining the U16 of the Clubberer. The robust and fast winger usually comes in from the left flank and made his debut as a U19 player in the last season already in the Regionalliga Bayern. With a goal in his debut, Okpodu also helped the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg win the championship in the Regionalliga Bayern. In total, he scored four goals in 17 games in this season.
