FC Köln has signed David Okpodu from 1. FC Nürnberg for the U21 team at Geißbockheim. The 18-year-old will play for the U21 in the Regionalliga West. Okpodu is a physically robust winger who played for the U19 and U23 teams in the past season, with the U23 team winning the Regionalliga Bayern championship. He is happy to join FC Köln: I'm really looking forward to the new challenge at FC Köln. After my time in Nürnberg, this step feels exactly right to establish myself in men's football. FC Köln is a big club with an incredible tradition and great fans. I can hardly wait to stand on the pitch with the team and give everything for the club.
