Coach Lukas Kwasniok did not use his strongest team in the general rehearsal, but instead used two completely different formations in each half. In the first half, the FC started with Bubi Fynn Schenten in the center of the attack. Schenten had the first two shots on goal for FC Koln. Marius Bülter scored after a Thielmann assist to make it 1:0.
How did the players react?
In the second half, Said El Mala and Ragnar Ache were finally allowed to play. But the Swiss team scored first. Kevin Behrens scored with a header. Driven by El Mala, FC Koln tried everything again – with success. Maina scored in the 80th minute to make it 2:1.
