The 24-year-old may soon leave FC Köln and join SC Braga in Portugal, according to Sky. Huseinbasic came to the Rhine in 2022 for 50,000 euros and proved to be one of the few transfer winners of Christian Keller. The market value is now estimated at two million euros. SC Braga finished the season in fourth place and will therefore play European qualification. FC Köln will reportedly pay a mid-six-figure sum to SC Braga. According to Sky, the two clubs are almost in agreement. The Kölner will, however, save a rather interesting high salary. The TV station speaks of a million euros. In addition, a resale fee is said to have been agreed. Huseinbasic did not play for the FC at all lately, played no role under René Wagner. Although the national player from Bosnia and Herzegovina was still allowed to run in the first duel under Wagner against Eintracht Frankfurt, the former U21 national player apparently could not prove himself.
